Hello 2010

resolutions seem so much like hard work

people make them

and break them

then get down on themselves

because they couldn't keep them

I am going to be a little easier on myself this year.

For the last few years I have watched a few of my favorite

Bloggers choose words to guide them through their year.

I've always seemed to have a hard time coming up with just one word.

In the past I had been torn between different words, and I always seemed to choose words that others had chosen, then felt like a bit of a fraud using

'their words'.

Perhaps the problem wasn't that I felt like I was being a copy-cat if I used the same word as someone else,

I think the problem was that I didn't believe that the right word had come to me.

This year however, is different.

I knew what word would become my mantra, so to speak.

!!!BELIEVE!!!

I have a hard time with Belief in so many different areas of my life.

At the core of it though, I think my biggest problem is that I did not believe in myself.

I did not believe that I was worthy.

This year I BELIEVE I can change those feelings.

I BELIEVE I CAN.

I am in no way under the impression that it will be easy.

I BELIEVE it will take great conscious effort on my behalf

to change a habit developed long long ago.

STILL, I BELIEVE I CAN

This year

I will BELIEVE.

I DO BELIEVE.

and

I BELIEVE I WILL ENJOY 2010

I BELIEVE IT WILL BE A GREAT YEAR
